Electric or petrol driven compressors offer an efficient, effective and easy to use solution, whether you are powering air tools or paint spraying.
Different compression ratios and variable speed drives are available, enabling you to achieve exactly the right pressure and flow you require, ensuring you have the right compressor for the job.
If you hire a compressor, you will often be responsible for loss or damage to the equipment during the hire period. Accidental damage, fire, and theft are tangible risks that can occur at any time. Furthermore, it is usually a contractual requirement to arrange insurance for the hired in digger and provide evidence of this to the hire company.
By getting insurance for hiring out equipment, you will be protecting yourself from your contractual liability and will be ensuring you are compliant with the hire contract.
Should the worst happen, you can claim up to £100,000 in repair or replacement costs, and if you are responsible for paying continuing hire charges until the machine is repaired or replaced then that cover is included within our short term hire policy up to a limit of £5,000.

More about usCan I take out compressor hire equipment insurance for demolition?
Many rental companies do not allow their compressors to be used for demolition, and we cannot provide insurance for plant hires used exclusively in this manner.
However, we understand that there are many construction projects that would require demolition as part of the contract. Where this is the case then it is likely that a breaker will be used, and this can be incorporated within our standard plant and machinery insurance policy cover.
Where the contract is purely a demolition contract then, this would not be covered within our policy, and such work should be undertaken by Professional Demolition Companies.
If you are unsure you can talk to a member of our team at any time and receive comprehensive answers to your questions. We also have an FAQ page that answers many more of your questions.
